We’re seeking development partners for both the employment and residential parcels of land at our mixed use scheme in Congleton, Cheshire East.
The whole 53 acre site is set to be a high quality community in a prime location on the edge of Congleton, just one mile north of the town centre and less than eight miles from Junction 17 of the M6. It will also feature a park, wildlife corridors and a local retail centre.
Access will be via the new Viking Way Extension that forms part of the new Congleton Link Road network which is due to complete in Spring 2021.
The scheme is currently subject to a live planning application and has been allocated in the Cheshire East Local Plan. We’re anticipating outline planning consent to be granted for the whole development in early 2021.
Employment land – 23 acres
Viking Park will be one of the largest single employment development sites in Cheshire East, with the potential to create 500 jobs
Suitable for business, general industrial and storage or distribution uses, the site will be available to buy freehold as individual plots or as a whole.
It will form an extension to the well-established Congleton Business Park Viking Park. It will also offer a first-class environment for employers and staff with public green space, a gym and retailers including Boots, M&S Food and B&M Stores all within walking distance.

Residential land – 23 acres
Working with land agency Hinson Parry, we’re seeking expressions of interest from developers to deliver around 170 new homes – including 17.5% affordable housing.
At this stage we’re inviting developers to get in touch so that we can understand interest and answer questions. A full technical pack will be made available in early January.
